Best 5 Amiibo Ever!

Best 5 Amiibo Ever!

Here at Mochi Mart we love our Amiibo. What started out as a cheap toys-to-life attempt from Nintendo has blossomed into an affordable Nintendo collectible instead. Since the start of the Amiibo lifecycle, prices have gone up, but so too has the quality.

So here are my 5 favourite Amiibo that would make any collection sparkle. This isn't a definitive list, and you may agree or disagree with my picks, but that's fine. Let's enjoy Amiibo collecting together!

So without further ado let's get started.

Metroid Amiibo

The Metroid Amiibo is one of the harder to find Amiibo out in the wild, and also one of the coolest. It features a Metroid escaping from its confinement with a broken glass test tube behind it. Not only that, it is one of the most unique Amiibo too, as the Metroid itself is squishy. Originally released in conjunction with Metroid: Samus Returns on the 3DS, it is essential for any Metroid fan and a white whale for Amiibo collectors.

Guardian

The Guardian Amiibo from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is such an interesting collectible. The foe in the game is one of the most deadly and daunting that you come across, especially early in the game. This Amiibo really does the creature justice, it is bigger than standard Amiibo, highlighting the enemies' intimidation factor. There is also a lot of nice detail in this figure, with the arms being moveable too.

Side Order Marina and Pearl

Marina and Pearl got their own Side Order Amiibo set for Splatoon 3, and it is probably the best version of the Off The Hook duo. The silver and gold paint that holds the two musical icons up adds a sense of luxury and prestige. They are rocking new outfits which are visually very striking, especially Marina's orange suit. She also has sparkly star-like tentacles and Pearl is sporting a literal crown.

Mario and Luma

Mario and his friend Luma received their own super sized Amiibo in conjunction with the release of Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Nintendo Switch. Mario can be seen firing himself through the Galaxy with Luma following close behind, below him is one of the small planets he can visit. The detail in the environment and in Mario is superb. It costs more than a standard Amiibo but is by far the best version of Mario, and an incredibly cool figure.

Link Majora's Mask

Whilst there are a lot of cool Zelda themed Amiibo, maybe even better ones, the Link from the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask makes my list. I was tempted to choose the Ocarina version of Link, as Ocarina of Time is such a special game, but Link holding up his Goron Mask has always been such a cool image to me. Seeing Link with his magical mask collection, using them to transform into different beings is such an exciting thought and this Amiibo encapsulates that perfectly. Like I said, there are so many Zelda Amiibo, but I feel like this one needs to be on every Zelda fans shelf.

There we have it. That was my personal favourite Amiibo. Did your favourite make my list too? Did I miss out one that you love? There are so many to choose from, and so many still to come. If you are on the lookout for any new Amiibo, check out the store to see what we have in stock.
